Having grown up in the bushveld Steyn has developed a deep knowledge and comprehension of the African bush. Steyn used to spend the majority of his days on the family's game ranch, where he regularly interacted with African wildlife. After completing his education, Steyn spent two years working for OFC, a sizable harvesting company in the USA. In order to fulfill his African goal of being a prosperous hunting outfitter, he went back to South Africa. As a PH for some of the top outfitters in South Africa, he acquired extensive industry experience. In 2021, Steyn fulfilled his goal by founding Steyn Africa Safaris.

Jo-anne was born and raised in the African Bushveld, but she also had the opportunity to visit several other African nations and lived in Germany for three years. She loves the outdoors and is quite talented. Jo-anne began her professional studies in animal anatomy and taxidermy in 2022. She has a great deal of information about African wildlife and species because she loves the continent. Jo-anne is passionate about wildlife photography, which captures creatures in their natural environments. The photographs of animals in motion or activity are the result of her photography.
